Patrimony
The RZA contributes to punctual preservation projects of the millenary patrimony of Zanskar. Thus, it participated in the following achievements:
Pipscha village
Restauration of the community place of the village, its small temple and its mural paintings.
The Bardan Monastery
Sculpting of a monumental portal (by the Marpaling woodwork workshop): its wooden-made pediment, which is 4 m. wide, is richly decorated with dragons and symbolic figures.
– Repairing of the roof and the big hypostyle room of the temple.
– Restauration of the magnificent frescoes of the temple by traditional painters, according to the canons of Buddhist aesthetic.
